The decisions made a few months ago have entered into force. The authorities of the University of Bialystok, elected for the 2024-2028 term, have officially started their term of office.
The new Rector of the largest university in Podlasie is prof. dr hab. Mariusz Popławski. From 2019 to 2024 prof. dr hab. Mariusz Popławski served as Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bialystok and in 2016 - 2019 as Vice-Rector for Development and International Cooperation of the University of Bialystok.
The Vice-Rector for Education and first deputy rector is dr hab. Krzysztof Korotkich, prof. UwB from the Faculty of Philological who began his secend term in this position.
The Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation is prof. Agnieszka Z. Wilczewska from the Faculty of Chemistry.
The affairs of students and doctoral students are the responsibility of dr hab. Anna Gardocka-Jałowiec, prof. UwB from the Faculty of Economics and Finance.
The Vice-Rector for Development is dr hab. Tomasz Bajkowski, prof. UwB from the Faculty of Educational Sciences.
