Professor Piotr Hofmański Honorary Doctor of the University of Białystok

An outstanding scientist and lawyer of international renown, judge and President of the International Criminal Court in The Hague in the years 2021-2024, Professor Piotr Józef Hofmański received the title of doctor honoris causa from the University of Białystok on Friday, April 4, 2025. He is the 24th person to whom the Senate of the largest university in Podlasie has awarded this dignity.

Dr Ewa Kaźmierczyk’s monograph „The Fallen Capital. Society and Space of Kraków in 18th Century” won the Main Prize of the Association of Higher Education Publishers named after Father Edward Pudełko during the Poznań Book Fair 2025.

A Scientist from the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Białystok honored with the award of the Minister of Science and Higher Education

Dr hab. Elżbieta Regulska from the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Białystok received the individual Award of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for significant achievements in the field of scientific activity. She received the award on February 19 this year during the Gala of Polish Science in Toruń.
