The Chair of Catholic Theology at the University of Białystok Represented at an International Academic Conference in Prague during the European Forum for Religious Education in Schools

From 8 to 12 April 2026, Prague hosted the European Forum for Religious Education in Schools. The event was attended by Rev. Leszek Marius Jakoniuk, a staff member of the Chair of Catholic Theology at the University of Białystok, who delivered a plenary lecture in French entitled: “The Subjectivity of Teacher and Student in the Face of Artificial Intelligence. The Limits of the Use of AI in Religious Education – An Outline of the Issues”.

Orientation Meeting for International Students at the University of Bialystok

On February 24, an Orientation Meeting for International students who began their studies in the summer semester was held at the University of Bialystok. The event was attended by 20 students from various countries.

Study in Podlaskie”—was launched; after many years of efforts, the Psychology degree programme was opened; and three more academic staff members of the University of Białystok were awarded the title of professor.

Visit of a Delegation from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange to the University of Białystok

On 15–16 December 2025, the University of Białystok hosted a delegation from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The visit focused on issues related to the internationalisation of higher education and the role played in this process by programmes supporting academic mobility, research cooperation and the development of international research networks.

A Quarter Century after Giedroyc: Symposium on Poland’s Strategy for the Coming Decades Held at the University of Białystok

Poland’s foreign policy 25 years after the death of the editor of Kultura, Polish–Ukrainian and Polish–Russian relations, Eastern Europe in Poland’s strategic thinking, as well as the legacy of Jerzy Giedroyc were among the topics discussed by participants of the symposium “A Quarter Century after Giedroyc: Poland’s Strategy for the Coming Decades”.

Edu&Science Meetings’ educational and science mission in Vietnam with the participation of representatives of the University of Bialystok

From 30 October to 4 November 2025, Chi Minh City and Hanoi hosted the Edu&Science Meetings – Vietnam 2025 educational and scientific mission, organised by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) in cooperation with the Polish Embassy in Hanoi and Vietnamese partner universities. The event was attended by representatives of 12 Polish universities, including the University of Bialystok.
