Interested in joining us at the University of Bialystok as an Erasmus+ student? We would be happy to welcome you!
You can apply through the Erasmus+ programme if there is a bilateral agreement between the University of Bialystok and your home university in your field of study.
To start the process, please contact the international office at your home university. If you are selected, your university will nominate you by sending an email to incoming@uwb.edu.pl (the nomination must be submitted using the excel file template. Please contact us to obtain it).
Nomination deadlines: 31.05 for arrivals for the winter semester and the whole year
31.10 for arrivals for the summer semester
This procedure applies to students from EU countries as well as from third countries associated with the Erasmus+ programme.
Deadlines for apply/register in IRK system for winter semester and the whole year:
till 05.06 student uploads the photo in the IRK system (acceptance of the photo is required by the Faculty Coordinator till 10.06). List of the Faculty Coordinators:

When photo is accepted student uploads signed by all parties application form and Learning Agreement signed by student and sending institution till 15.06. Faculty Coordinator will consider your Learning Agreement till 30.06.
Failure to upload the photo by the deadline will result in removal from the recruitment process

Application will be possible in the IRK system from:
- April 15th to June 15th - for the whole year and winter semester arrivals (
- October 1st to November 15th - for the summer semester arrivals
How to apply?
1) Create an account in IRK.
2) Choose the faculty you would like to study at under the Erasmus+ Studies for EU countries and third countries associated to the programme KA 131.
3) Fill in all required fields. Make sure to provide your complete name, matching your ID or passport. Remember to indicate the correct name of your home university.
4) You will be asked to provide your ESI number. The ESI (the European Student Identifier) is a digital identifier enabling students to uniquely identify themselves when they access student mobility services online. If you are unsure about your ESI, please enter your e-mail address the same as during creation the account in the IRK system.
5) Upload your photo (remember that photo should meet the same criteria as ID document photo).
6) Once your photo is approved by the coordinator, fill in, generate Application Form, print, sign and give to the coordinator from your university for signature. If you would like to apply for dormitory, please indicate your interest in obtaining a dormitory place in application form.
7) Scan and upload the Application Form in the system in the section: Required documents. This is the only document that should be upload there.
8) If your university is connected to EWP- fill in the Learning Agreement in your university's system. The Learning Agreement, once approved by you and your home university coordinator, should appear in our IRK system.
If your university is not connected to the EWP, fill in the Learning Agreement and send the signed version by all coordinators to incoming@uwb.edu.pl.
9) Wait for approval of your application.
The International Cooperation Office communicates the student's acceptance by e-mail. Students who need an Invitation Letter should ask for it from the International Cooperation Office after receiving their acceptance confirmation by e-mail.
