We are pleased to announce that as of December 1, 2024, the position of Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation of the University of Białystok will be taken over by dr hab. Agnieszka Piekutowska. This decision results from the professor's many years of experience and involvement in the development of our university, especially in the area of internationalization.
– I am very happy to be able to appoint dr hab. Agnieszka Piekutowska for this position. I entrust you with the implementation of two key elements of my rector's program - science, evaluation and international cooperation - emphasizes the Rector of the University of Bialystok. – In the context of evaluation, I want to make the most of the time remaining until the end of the evaluation period by conducting a detailed analysis of the activities carried out at the faculties. It is important to identify areas that require intensification of activities so that we as a university can achieve the best possible results. I count on the Professor's great commitment, determination and initiative – adds the Rector of University of Białystok.
Dr hab. Agnieszka Piekutowska has been associated with the University of Białystok for many years. In her previous work, she has held among others: the function of Vice-Dean for Internationalization and Rector's Plenipotentiary for International Cooperation from which function she will be dismissed on November 30, 2024.
At the same time, we would like to inform you that as of November 8, 2024, prof. Agnieszka Wilczewska was dismissed from the position of Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation of the University of Białystok.
The changes in management are aimed at strengthening the university's activities in key areas and ensuring the implementation of strategic goals at the highest level.
