Rector of the largest University in Podlasie prof. Mariusz Popławski was appointed by the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Łukasz Prokorym, to the Podlasie Entrepreneurship Council. It is composed of representatives of business, economic organizations and the world of science who will support the voivodeship management in taking actions for Podlaskie entrepreneurship and the economic development of the region.
We are establishing the Podlasie Entrepreneurship Council because the voice of entrepreneurs is extremely important and should be listened to by the voivodeship authorities. I am glad that this council includes the rectors of the three largest universities in the region. I want this cooperation between the worlds of science and business to be as good as possible because the success of these two worlds will cause the voivodeship to develop quickly and effectively - said Marshal Łukasz Prokorym when awarding the appointments.
The appointments were made on October 25 this year in the Białystok town hall. The council consists of 30 people and the world of science is represented by: prof.Mariusz Popławski – Rector of the University of Białystok, ? Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk – Rector of the Białystok University of Technology and prof. Ph.D. Marcin Moniuszko – Rector of the Medical University of Białystok.
The Podlasie Entrepreneurship Council was established for the fourth time.
