The Professor Andrzej Myrcha University Nature Centre is a university-wide organisational unit of the University of Białystok whose aim is to conduct exhibition and educational activities on nature. The Nature Centre has been operating since 1999. Its patron, Prof. Myrcha, began gathering the collection in 1978.

From the expedition to the Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station, he brought the first exhibits - marine invertebrates and Antarctic birds - to the then Department of Biology at the Branch of the University of Warsaw in Białystok. Today, the Centre boasts a unique collection of Eocene penguin bones from Seymour Island with holotypes of 5 species, a collection of Palaeogene arthropods made of Baltic, Domik and Mexican amber with 11 holotypes and a collection of Polish spiders.

New exhibition - "Monsters from the Depths" by Ewa Stawiarska and Piotr Menducki open from January 24, 2025 to December 31 at the Professor Andrzej Myrcha University Nature Center at Ciołkowskiego 1J Street on the UwB campus.
